Guided group hiking adventures and outdoor skills workshops in the Peak District, led by a friendly, qualified female leader.
I’m Beth, a fully qualified and insured Hill & Moorland Leader based near the Peak District. I love bringing people together to enjoy the outdoors in a relaxed, friendly and supportive way - whether you’re new to hiking, want to build your outdoor skills, or simply fancy exploring somewhere new with a great group of people.
My adventures are all about having fun outdoors while feeling safe, confident and prepared along the way.

This one is not to be missed… We’ve got the perfect way to spend the winter solstice. Enjoy a gorgeous sunrise hike looking over the stunning White Peak hills of the Peak District as the sun comes up on shortest day of the year. The Roaches & Hen Cloud is the perfect spot for sunrise & sunset (Beth’s favourite location) and you’ll spend a fantastic morning hiking over the rugged gritstone edge and rolling countryside.
This date also happens to be Beth’s birthday, so there’ll be cake for breakfast too! Party hats are optional but strongly recommended.

Time: 7am-Midday (approx.)
Meeting Point: the Roaches (near Leek) | exact meeting point and details will be sent out via email nearer to the event
Public Transport: this route is not easily accessed by public transport
Length: 7 miles + 400m elevation
Difficulty: beginner to moderate (beginner hikers will enjoy this more with a good general fitness level but we’ll be taking it at a slow steady pace)
Open to: all adults and dogs

Where we go adventuring
Beth hosts guided group hikes all over the Peak District National Park which is situated between Sheffield and Manchester in the UK. The northern half of the park is called the Dark Peak which has very rugged edges, higher elevation and plenty of big chunky gritstone boulders. The southern half is the White Peak - think more classic rolling hills, plenty of limestone landscapes and sweeping valleys.
In 2027 Beth will be branching out to further national parks such as Eryri, the Lake District & Brecon Beacons after qualifying as a Mountain Leader, so keep an eye out for more adventures around the UK coming soon!
