Let’s start the bank holiday weekend with an easy-going hike around beautiful Wildboarclough in the Peak District, looping around Three Shires Head (a fantastic waterfall with pools perfect for a wild dip if you’re feeling brave!). We’ll be in a small women’s only group with a focus on getting some fresh air, making some new friends, and bonding over the cold water!

7 miles + 300m elevation (spread across the route)

Please note the ‘wild dip’ is completely optional so there’s no pressure if you don’t fancy going in the water. For those who’d like to give it a go, please bear in mind the water will be cold so ensure you have some warm clothes to put on afterwards. I recommend bringing a flask of warm drink too. Water shoes are recommended to protect your feet on any rocks in the water.

Burbage Edge Mindful Connections Hike

Join us on a special mindful group hike in the Peak District which focuses on making connections with like-minded others and fully embracing nature, on a ‘no-phones’ adventure!

Mindfulness is the practice of purposely focusing attention on the present moment and the environment, so we can immerse ourselves in the nature surrounding us. By incorporating a ‘no-phones’ element it will help to reduce stress, improve mental wellbeing, and break reactive habits often caused by endless phone notifications. 

This is a lovely route around Burbage Edge & Padley Gorge, taking in key sights of the area such as Over Owler & Higger Tor. We’ll be so engrossed in the surrounding views you’ll want to leave your phone at home more often…

Please note this is a ‘no-phones’ adventure. You are welcome to bring your phone for emergency use and keep it inside your bag, but we won’t be using our phones whilst out on the hike, even for taking photos! If you’d like to capture the day, feel free to bring a classic camera, or maybe a disposable camera for nostalgia.

Edale Skyline Weekend

Saturday 09 May & Sunday 10 May 2026

Have you always wanted to do the Edale Skyline but don’t fancy 20 miles in one day? Then look no further! We’ve got a great weekend planned that will span the Edale Skyline split over 2 days. That means we can enjoy the route in 2 halves, without gasping for breath and collapsing at the end.

There’s 3 options for taking part: choose either to participate for a day and tick off the east or west side of the route, or purchase a combined ticket for both days and complete the whole skyline.

Day 1 - Saturday 09 May 8:30am

East side of the Edale Skyline (Kinder Scout, Brown Knoll, Rushup Edge)

10 Miles - Moderate difficulty

Day 2 - Sunday 10 May 8:30am

West side of the Edale Skyline (Nether Tor, Win Hill, Mam Tor)

14 Miles - Moderate to Hard difficulty

Both days led by your gal Beth (Qualified Hill & Moorland Leader)

The Edale Skyline offers views like no other; it’s just as pretty looking through the valley, as it is looking out of the Peak District hills and Ladybower reservior from Win Hill. You’ll come away from this weekend with tired legs but a real sense of achievement, a camera roll full of pretty pictures, and some new friends you’ve bonded with after slogging uphill.

Please note that accommodation is not included in the weekend ticket to allow for flexibility of staying locally or travelling to Edale each day, whatever suits you best.

What a beautiful way to spend your Saturday evening, at the stunning Curbar Edge for sunset over the rolling hills of the Peak District. We’ll be in a small group with a focus on getting some fresh air, making some new friends, and bonding over the views! We’ll have a lovely hike and visit the highland cows on Baslow Edge before finding a spot to sit at Curbar Edge for the views at dusk. We’ll then return to our cars as it’s getting dark so don’t forget your head-torch!

Dragon’s Back Summer Sunday Hike

What better way to spend a summer Sunday in the beautiful White Peak area of the Peak District with plenty of flowers, wildlife and rolling hills.

This is a lovely route starting in the cute village of Longnor which has a general store + plenty of pubs (maybe a drink at the end?). We’ll head to Hollinsclough Honesty Shop which is full of local produce + hiking snacks, before heading over to Chrome Hill & Parkhouse Hill - the 2 limestone jagged peaks of the mighty Dragon’s Back!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • You’ll be sent a full list of recommend kit when you book, but in general it’s good to have some hiking boots (or shoes) with good grip, and some waterproofs. You may need a few more things if you’re booking onto a weekend or camping trip, but you can ask if you’re unsure about anything before you book!

  • Absolutely! There’s events for everyone - some more suited to beginners and some more suited to those who’ve been hiking before and want a challenge. On the details for each event you’ll find a summary of who it is best for. I also organise free events specifically aimed at beginners who want to give a hike a try!

  • Yes, and I encourage you do! These events are great for building your confidence and stepping outside your comfort zone. But of course, you’re always welcome to sign up with your bestie.

  • Rain or shine, as long as there isn’t an active weather warning that could cause us any danger, we’ll be going out! As much as we always hope for a lovely clear day, being in the UK means we’re always prepared for bad weather. Your leader will ensure the group stays safe whatever happens in the sky, just make sure you have a good set of waterproofs!

  • There’s a low minimum number amount for each event, so it’s unlikely that the event will get cancelled due to low numbers. Once the minimum number has been reached you’ll see in the description it’ll say ‘guaranteed to run’ so you’ve got peace of mind if you’re making any arrangements to be able to attend. The only reason an event may not go ahead if it says guaranteed, will be due to dangerous weather warnings, but this is somewhat rare!
