Do you want to try a hike but not sure where to start?
Every month I organise a free hike aimed at beginners who want to try getting into the outdoors without any pressure, make some friends, and feel safe in a new environment.
This month we’re heading to one of my favourite areas - the Edale valley. We will start on the Pennine Way, climb up to Rushup Edge & Lord’s Seat, head across to Mam Tor for great views, then back to Edale (and the pub!).
Suitable for all levels including beginners who want to try a hike without too much elevation.
When: Saturday 24th January @ 10am
Where: Edale, Peak District
How far: 7.5 miles + 350m elevation (mixed terrain)
Level: beginner to moderate - open to all adults
